With a design based on the award-winning StormAudio ISP MK2 platform, the ISP CORE 16 gives you a sleek, compact, and premium option that delivers StormAudio’s signature functionality and performance in a 3U chassis.
The ISP CORE 16, manufactured in France, supports up to 16 channels and has all the DSP power to decode all the latest immersive formats (Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision) and enable post-processing to optimize any speaker to any room straight out of the box. It includes the highest implementation of Dirac Live on the market for easy and accurate room calibration, supports up to 20 PEQs per channel and can drive up to four-way active crossovers and any number of subwoofers.
A refined minimalist design highlighting a new full color 5” display that provides access to a wealth of information such as real time multichannel VuMeter or HDMI signals details for quick accessible overview of essential data. The ISP Core 16 can be easily controlled by a variety of tools, ranging from the included IR remote control to home automation systems or the Android/iOS available on smartphones or tablets. Our credo is to engineer high performing products that are simple to use and easy to set up for the customer; the ISP Core 16 is no exception, it comes with StormAudio’s intuitive User Interface and user-friendly Installation Configurator.
Based on the design of its big brother the ISP MK2, it delivers the same audio performance with the same DAC portion and proprietary analog/digital hybrid volume adjustment that maximizes the dynamic range for a more accurate, detailed and dynamic reproduction of your movie soundtrack or your music playlists. Although the ISP Core 16 does not offer modularity, upgradability of the HDMI board remains possible so you can stay up to date whenever new updates are release.
Finally, an optional firmware package is available to activate additional features: StormXT, Expert Bass Management, Dirac Live Bass Control and HDMI matrix features (available end 2021).
